CM Maryam gives permission to use her helicopter for patients

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has granted permission to use her helicopter for critical patients who need emergency transfer to distant areas for timely medical assistance.

While presiding over a meeting in Lahore on Friday, CM Punjab stated that many lives are lost due to delayed hospital arrivals. 

She added that transporting accident victims to the hospital quickly is especially challenging in remote areas.

CM Maryam announced plans to expand the emergency response service in Punjab. This includes launching a Rescue 1122 service on the motorways and introducing an air ambulance service in the near future.

The death of a heart patient in Sargodha due to delayed medical assistance prompted the newly-elected CM to pledge proactive steps.

She vowed to improve emergency medical services throughout Punjab to prevent such tragedies.
