CM Maryam Nawaz shares meal with Sikh community at Kartarpur

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif sat down with the pilgrims and ate at the Sikh Langar Hall at Kartarpur Sahib.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif reached Kartarpur Sahib to extend warm greetings to the Sikh community on the celebration of the Baisakhi.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz enjoyed boiled rice, bitter fritters, lentils, jaggery rice, and bread were served with humility.
Speaking with media, CM Maryam extended congratulations on behalf of herself and former PM Nawaz Sharif, emphasizing the significance of the occasion.
She expressed regret that Nawaz Sharif couldn't join her but expressed her joy in welcoming Sikh pilgrims to Pakistan. She highlighted the historic nature of Punjab officially celebrating the Baisakhi festival for the first time.
Maryam also affirmed her dedication to upholding the honor and dignity of the Sikh community, expressing a wish for Pakistani Punjabis to embrace their language as much as Indian Punjabis do. She assured that Pakistan remains open to Sikh guests and expressed a desire to enhance the sacred sites of the Sikh community and provide support for various initiatives.
Maryam Nawaz pledged to serve the Sikh community and offered prayers for their safe return.
