Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz asked the critics, who bash her for making videos, to come out of their comfort zones and make themselves eligible for TikTok videos and media coverage by serving people.

Addressing an inauguration ceremony at 32 Field Hospital in Lahore, Punjab's first woman CM said she was being continuously criticised for her appearance in TikTok videos.

“I want them to come outside from your homes, air-conditioned rooms, comfort zone and do something so that you could be eligible for TikTok and media coverage,” she said.

Defending her TikTok videos, Maryam said the public must be aware of the daily activities of their chief minister.

“It is easy to tweet while sitting at home and make a statement on TV against those who are working for the betterment of people," she clapped back at her opponents.

The PML-N chief organiser said that she was following the footsteps of her father Nawaz Sharif, who inquired about her daily performance regularly.

However, she also criticised the then-Imran Khan-led PTI government for stopping the supply of free-of-cost medicines to needy people, which was recently resumed by PML-N.
