Dance party in Rawalpindi to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) sparks outrage

A controversial dance party held by local men in Rawalpindi on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) has sparked outrage among the public.
According to sources, the event, which was captured in several videos, took place in Dheri Hasanabad area in the jurisdiction of the Civil Lines police station.
In the video, men could be seen dancing with transgender persons in the street.
Some men, in the video, could also be seen showering currency notes on transgender persons.

As the videos of the event went viral on social media, people slammed the organisers for "disregarding the sanctity of the sacred occasion".
Netizens termed the incident unacceptable and hurtful to the sentiments of Muslims celebrating the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Police have lodged a case against the unidentified men involved and are conducting raids to apprehend the culprits.
The law enforcers have urged people to come forward and assist in the investigation against those involved in disrespecting the holy day.
