Daughter of bank security guard secures third position in matric TSC exams

The daughter of a private bank security guard, has secured third position in the Technical School Certificate (TSC) Part-II annual examinations 2025, as announced by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Karachi.

The results were officially announced on Monday by SBTE Chairman Musharraf Ali Rajput. A total of 1,887 candidates appeared in the exams conducted across Sindh, with 1,628 students passing, putting the overall success rate at an impressive 86.27%.

Wajiha Shah, a student of Workers Model School SITE Hyderabad, earned 1,164 marks out of 1,350 in the Computer Science group, securing the third-highest score in the province.

The first and second positions were claimed by students from Gulshan Technical High School, Malir. Hafiz Muhammad Shaheer topped the board with 1,179 marks, followed closely by Muhammad Shamikh Ahmed, who secured 1,168 marks.

All three top position holders were honored with shields, medals, and cash prizes in recognition of their outstanding performance.

Wajiha’s achievement has sparked an outpouring of admiration on social media, with users applauding her hard work, resilience, and dedication. Many have hailed her as a role model for young girls across the province, especially those from working-class backgrounds.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Musharraf Ali Rajput congratulated all the successful students and emphasised the importance of technical education in empowering youth and building a skilled workforce for Pakistan's future.
