Deadline for PM laptop scheme extended

The registration deadline for the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme (PMYLS) has been extended until June 1, 2025.

The decision was made in response to a high volume of applications and requests from students.

Originally set to close on May 20, the extension provides eligible students additional time to apply for the government initiative, which aims to improve access to digital resources and support academic performance in public sector universities.

Applicants can register through the official portal at www.pmyp.gov.pk. No further extensions have been announced at this time.

The PMYLS is part of the government's broader effort to enhance learning outcomes and bridge the digital divide among students across Pakistan.
