Dr Zakir Naik to visit Pakistan next month on PM Shehbaz's invitation

Renowned religious scholar Dr Zakir Naik, along with his son Shaikh Fariq Naik, is set to visit Pakistan this year on the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, according to the cleric's official social media account.
The Islamic scholar took to microblogging site X to announce the plan for his visit.
"On the invitation of the Government of Pakistan, Dr Zakir Naik and Shaikh Fariq Naik’s Pakistan Tour 2024," the post read.
During his visit, Dr Naik will address public gatherings in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

He will speak in Karachi on October 5 and 6, followed by lectures in Lahore on October 12 and 13, and finally in Islamabad on October 19 and 20.
These events will also be broadcast live on Peace TV, allowing a wider audience to benefit from Islamic preacher's expertise in comparative religion.
As a respected Islamic scholar, Mr Zakir has delivered over 2,000 public talks in more than 40 countries worldwide.
His son, Shaikh Fariq Naik, is an upcoming young Da'ee and student of Islamic knowledge.
The cleric had previously expressed his desire to visit Pakistan in a podcast with YouTuber Nadir Ali.
He said that he had planned to visit Pakistan in 2020 but was unable to do so due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, he will now travel to the South Asian country in October to "connect with larger Muslim community and continue his Da'wa work without interference".
