Educational institutes in Sindh to remain closed on Youm-e-Ali

The Sindh government has announced that all educational institutes will remain closed on April 1 (Monday) on account of Youm-e-Ali.
The decision was ratified by the Steering Committee of the Provincial Education Department.
The decision encompasses both private and public schools and colleges, ensuring a uniform observance of the occasion.
However, the official notification in this regard is yet to be issued.
Youm-e-Ali will be observed across the city to mark the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA) and processions will be taken out amid strict security.
Thousands of mourners will pay tribute to the Fourth Caliph and Shi'ite clerics will pay homage to services and sacrifices rendered by Hazrat Ali (RA) and his family for Islam.
