Fazlur Rehman holds Gen Bajwa, Faiz Hameed responsible for Imran Khan's impeachment

ISLAMABAD: JUI-F Chief Fazlur Rehman has claimed former Chief Of Army Staff (COAS) General retired Qamar Bajwa and former ISI chief Lt. Gen retired Faiz Hameed asked political parties to move a no-confidence motion against former prime minister Imran Khan.

Speaking on the Samaa TV program, Fazl claimed Bajwa was in contact during the move.

Fazlur Rehman said all the political parties including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan People's Party and all other political parties were summoned and asked to 'move' a no-confidence motion against Imran Khan.

JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman also confirmed the contacts with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Rehman said: "The PTI leaders have said we are coming. They [PTI leaders] are welcome here."

"We do not know what the PTI leaders are going to talk about," he said.

Earlier it was reported that the PTI leadership will meet Rehman. A delegation led by Barrister Gohar will meet Rehman tonight.

The PTI delegation will include Asad Qaiser, Barrister Saif, and Akhund Zada Hussain Ahmed.
