The Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council, Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi, has declared the minimum Fitrana to be set at Rs220 per individual, determined by the price of wheat.
For those wishing to contribute with alternative food items such as dates, raisins, or dried apricots, the required donations are Rs1,650 for dates, Rs2,500 for raisins, and Rs5,000 for dried apricots.
It is essential to understand that both Fitrana and Fidya are contributions made according to one's financial capacity, with Fitrana being a mandatory charity imposed on every Muslim.
Furthermore, the council has established the compensation amounts for Fidya, indicating that the total compensation for thirty missed fasts would vary from Rs6,600 for wheat to Rs150,000 for dried apricots.

Additionally, Naeemi stated that an individual who deliberately breaks their fast must either fast for sixty consecutive days or provide two meals to sixty needy individuals as a penalty.
In contrast, purchasing government-subsidized flour will result in a reduced Fitrana and Fidya amounting to only Rs160.
