Funeral prayers offered for Sindh Rangers personnel martyred in Karachi terrorist attack

The funeral prayers for the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) personnel who embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack in Karachi were offered today.
The Rangers personnel laid down their lives while successfully thwarting a cowardly terrorist attack carried out by the Indian proxy group Jamaat-ul-Ahrar.
The funeral prayers were attended by the Federal Minister for Interior, the Governor of Sindh, the Chief Minister of Sindh, the Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), the families of the martyrs, and a large number of senior civil and military officials.
The participants paid tribute to the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs and expressed their heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families.
Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi described the terrorist attack as deeply tragic, stating that those responsible would be held accountable.
He affirmed that the security forces would relentlessly pursue the perpetrators, wherever they may be, and bring them to justice.
Governor of Sindh Nihal Hashmi strongly condemned the act of terrorism and reiterated the nation's resolve to continue its efforts to eradicate terrorism from the country.
He stated that Indian-sponsored terrorism would never be tolerated and pledged that terrorism would be eliminated at its roots.
Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah said that the brave Rangers personnel embraced martyrdom while foiling the malicious designs of the terrorists.
He paid tribute to their courage and reaffirmed the Sindh Government's unwavering support for the security forces in their mission to eliminate terrorism from the country.
Following the funeral prayers, the mortal remains of the martyrs were dispatched to their native hometowns, where they will be laid to rest with full military honours.
