Gold prices in Pakistan jump by Rs1,900 per tola

Amid the ongoing volatility in the precious metals market, gold prices in Pakistan rose by Rs1,900 per tola on Thursday, an upward trend continuing after a sharp increase of Rs5,800 per tola on October 15, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
In a notable development in the bullion market, the price of 24-karat gold surged from Rs440,900 to Rs442,800 per tola, marking a rise of Rs1,900.
The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold today reached Rs379,629, up from Rs378,000.
In the international market, gold stood at $4,217 per ounce after gaining $19.
Gold prices continue to fluctuate as investor sentiment shifts, influenced by several factors including economic conditions and currency movements.
On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged, with the rate per tola standing at Rs5,337 and Rs4,575 for 10 grams.
