An old video clip from the reality show Living on the Edge, once hosted by digital content creator and television personality Waqar Zaka, has recently resurfaced on social media,  reigniting conspiracy theories surrounding his rise to fame.

In the video, a female participant confronted Zaka on-air and accused him of being associated with the Illuminati.

She alleged that his rapid ascent to popularity, especially when compared to prominent music artists like Ali Zafar and Atif Aslam, was “unnaturally fast,” implying possible “hidden influences” behind his success.

The contestant further attempted to support her claims by pointing out symbols she believes are linked to the Illuminati, referencing a necklace Zaka was wearing and certain hand gestures he made during the show. The accusations visibly angered Zaka, who dismissed the claims as baseless and unfounded.

While the clip dates back several years, its resurfacing has once again sparked debate online, as the old footage of Waqar Zaka fuels Illuminati rumors following the emergence of a new “London party” video.

The controversy started after a video of Waqar Zaka circulated on the internet, as he was allegedly seen making gestures that fans claim are proof of his “Illuminati connection.”

Waqar Zaka, known for his outspoken views and crypto trading videos, responded aggressively to the controversy. He defended himself in a video post, explaining that “Illuminati does not refer to Satan; it means enlightenment, science and technological development.”

He further stated that the Illuminati community originally aimed to influence political and religious elites toward more rational, secular governance, which, he said, could be seen as an investment in a better future for humanity.

Waqar Zaka urged the public to 'do their research' and  criticised misuse of his videos for clickbait.
