The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony announced the final cost for the long and short Hajj packages for the year 2025.

The announcement followed the recent signing of the annual Hajj agreement between Islamabad and Riyadh, aimed at ensuring optimal facilities for Pakistani pilgrims.

According to the agreement, a total of 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims are set to undertake the Hajj this year. The arrangement includes provisions for enhanced services, with special accommodation in Mina being offered to Pakistani pilgrims at discounted rates.

A spokesperson for the ministry stated that the final costs for the long and short Hajj packages have been established at Rs1,075,000 and Rs1,150,000, respectively.

The spokesperson further noted that the third installment of Hajj payments will be collected from February 1 to February 10.

The ministry said that a limited number of seats in the government Hajj scheme remain available, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until January 30.

New applications will only be accepted for the long Hajj package, as the short Hajj package has already reached full capacity.

Additionally, the booking process for private Hajj pilgrims will remain open until the end of this month.
