Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi arrived in Islamabad on Monday for a two-day official visit, focusing on consultations with Pakistani leadership regarding the Middle East situation.

During his visit, he is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, speaking at a cabinet meeting in Tehran, reiterated Iran's commitment to peace and stability in the region.

He criticized the actions of the Zionist regime, accusing it of seeking to escalate conflict. Pezeshkian stated that all regional countries recognize Iran's dedication to peace, contrasting it with what he described as the U.S.-led instigation of wars.

He condemned the hypocritical positions of the U.S. and European nations regarding ongoing crises in the Middle East, questioning their commitment to peace given their vetoes on ceasefire proposals.

President Pezeshkian stressed that any violation of Iran's sovereignty would be met with a strong response, warning that any miscalculation by adversaries could lead to significant repercussions.
