Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced plans to hold large-scale protest marches towards US embassies in major cities across Pakistan to raise their voice against the ongoing Israeli military offensive in Gaza, where over 50,000 Palestinians, many of them children, have been brutally killed.
Israel resumed its assault on the Gaza Strip after violating a ceasefire on March 15, ending a brief two-month truce following 15 months of relentless violence and genocide.
The renewed and indiscriminate military onslaught has seen Palestinians killed and burned alive in buildings, schools, and makeshift shelters, with Israel targeting even designated safe zones.

Pro-Palestinian supporters around the world are holding protests and rallies to highlight the scale of the Israeli genocide in Gaza and are demanding that global powers hold the Zionist state accountable for its war crimes, carried out with impunity.
JI emir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman spoke at a press conference on Monday and announced that the first major march will take place in Lahore on April 11, heading toward the US Embassy. He urged citizens to join in large numbers, especially encouraging the participation of women and children.

On April 13, another march will be held in Karachi along Shahrah-e-Faisal, while a third protest is planned in Islamabad on April 20, to be staged in front of the American embassy.
Criticising the continued silence of Arab and Muslim countries, Hafiz Naeem said their failure to act against Israel’s atrocities would not go unnoticed and warned that the leaders of these nations would be held accountable for their inaction.
