Karachi braces for colder weather: Meteorological department forecasts temperature drop

Meteorologists say that the minimum temperature recorded in Karachi has dropped to 14.5°C. Currently, Karachi’s weather is cold and dry, and the intensity of the cold is expected to increase by next week.

According to the Meteorological Department, daytime temperatures may range between 28°C and 30°C, while nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to between 15°C and 17°C.

Meanwhile, the NDMA has issued a weather advisory from today until 18 December, forecasting rain and snowfall in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kohistan, and various regions of Gilgit-Baltistan. Rain and snowfall are also expected in parts of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Balochistan.

According to the NDMA, a new weather forecast has been issued. Western winds are expected to increase the intensity of fog, and light rain is also predicted in some areas.
