Karachi couple among five dead as tourist jeep falls into Neelum Valley ravine

Five tourists, including a couple from Karachi, were killed when the jeep they were travelling in plunged into a ravine near Sardari in Neelum Valley.
According to rescue officials, a minor girl suffered injuries in the accident.
The vehicle was traveling from Kel to Taobat Helmat when it skidded off the rain-soaked, slippery road running along the Neelum River, the officials said.
The victims included the couple from Karachi and other tourists, while their daughter was pulled from the wreckage with injuries. She was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Rescue teams later recovered the bodies from the site. The officials said the accident was caused by rainfall and poor road conditions.
On July 4, six tourists, including five women, lost their lives when the vehicle they were travelling in plunged into the Neelum River.
The accident occurred in the Chilhana area of Neelum Valley, where the vehicle veered off a deteriorated and unprotected mountainous road.
