Karachi gets ready for colder winter breeze

As the northwesterly and northeasterly winds from Balochistan begin entering Karachi, the city’s temperature is likely to experience a slight dip, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

There will be a decrease of 1-2 degree Celsius in Karachi’s mercury.

As weather gets colder in Balochistan, the metropolitan city is also likely to get effected by it. However, the winds are not expected to get severly cold, but to remain moderate, ranging from 12 °C and 14 °C at night, and daytime temperature of 27 °C to 29 °C.

Earlier this week, Karachi experienced a night time temperature as low as 9 degrees at one of its weather stations. However, there seems to be no forecast of rainfall for Karachi at the moment according to PMD.

Nevertheless, Karachi will feel cooler from Monday onward, the city should just be ready for cold and crisp mornings and pleasant afternoons as winter sets in slowly.
