The country's biggest cattle market for the sale of animals for sacrifice on the occasion of Eidul Adha is set to commence on May 10 (Friday) in Karachi, as announced by the management.

According to the administration, the expansive market will occupy a vast area of 1000 acres at Taiser Town Northern Bypass.

The management said that ATMs and temporary bank branches will also be established in the market for "financial services and convenience of citizens".

The administration further informed that an ambulance would be available in the cattle market along with the emergency medical facility to provide assistance to the buyers and sellers in the cattle market.

It's pertinent to mention here that the market was set up every year near Sohrab Goth along the Super Highway, but last year the venue was changed to Northern Bypass.

Following the new location's announcement, social media was flooded with reports and videos regarding the safety of the ways leading to the cattle market.

Dialogue Pakistan's team visited the site in order to find the facts behind these videos and reports.

It was revealed that the reports and videos circulating on social media were not true to some extent.
