Mobile internet services temporarily suspended in Quetta over security concerns

Mobile internet services were temporarily suspended in Quetta due to security concerns on Wednesday, according to media reports.

The service would be restored as soon as the security situation becomes normal.

Mobile internet services in Quetta have been temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure in light of security threats, officials said.

Special Assistant to the Balochistan Chief Minister on Home Affairs Babar Yousafzai said that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the government’s top priority, which is why mobile internet services were suspended for a few hours.

He further assured the public that the mobile internet service would be restored immediately once normalcy is restored.
