Man arrested for attempted child abduction in Karachi's Peerabad

Police in Karachi's West District thwarted an attempted abduction of a 10-year-old boy and arrested the suspect, according to SSP West.

The incident occurred in the Frontier Colony area of Peerabad, where the suspect, identified as Jannat Gul, son of Muhammad Siddiq, attempted to abduct 10-year-old Owais, son of Ameen Taj.

Acting on timely information, police, with the assistance of local residents, apprehended the suspect before he could succeed in his plans.

A case has been registered against the suspect based on a complaint filed by the child's father, Ameen Taj.

Further investigations are underway to gather information about other accomplices or members of the suspect's network.

The West Police assured that the investigation would continue to ensure the safety of children in the district.
