Maulana Fazlur Rehman calls for full medical facilities for Imran Khan in jail

Maulana Fazlur Rehman has demanded that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf be provided with complete medical facilities while in jail. Speaking on humanitarian grounds, he said the PTI founder should be allowed to undergo a medical examination by his personal doctor.

He warned that turning political differences into personal enmity harms society as a whole, stressing that politics should not be an end in itself but a means to ensure human welfare.

Commenting on law and order, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said the attack on Pinyala Police Station had shaken society and expressed serious concern over the worsening security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He demanded a formal inquiry into the Pinyala incident by the Inspector General of Police.

Raising critical questions, he asked how the martyred station house officer’s official submachine gun was taken from him and why an armoured vehicle was not provided during the operation against terrorists.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said such lapses must be investigated to ensure accountability and to prevent similar incidents in the future.
