Following the terrible incidents of terrorism in Balochistan that claimed 50 lives, including security personnel, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday vowed to eliminate terrorism from the country.

Addressing a cabinet meeting in Islamabad, the premier discussed the issues that prevent Pakistan from moving towards development, including emerging terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

“Several citizens and security officials were martyred in the terrorism incidents that occurred in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, these terrorist activities are being launched by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which works from Afghanistan,” said PM Shehbaz while condemning the incidents.

He said that in this regard, Pakistan has not only informed Afghanistan but also taken effective actions against miscreants.

“No dialogue would be held with enemies of the country. They want to create a distance between Pakistan and its friends, including China,” PM Shehbaz added.

“There is no room for terrorists, the time has come to eradicate terrorism, and the sacrifices of the people against terrorism will not go in vain,” younger Sharif.

The premier noticed that the country would have to recognise its enemies.

“There is no space for weakness,” he said, adding, “Our doors are always open for dialogues with those who accept Pakistan’s flag and its constitution.”

“It is our clear message that we would not talk with those who are enemies in the guise of friends, neither softness would be shown to them, incidents that happened yesterday are serious concerns for us, but we would trample these difficulties."

Prime Minister made these remarks after yesterday’s incident in Balochistan that claimed at least 50 lives, including 14 security men, as militants rampaged the province, blowing up a railway track, killing 23 people with Punjabi identification in Musakhail, also attacking police station Kalat.

In Khadkocha, a militant group hostaged Levies officials for seven hours. Additionally, six bodies with gun attacks were recovered from Bolan.

However, the military officials neutralised as many as 21 militants in the security operations conducted in the different areas of Balochistan.
