The opposition alliance, Tehreek Tahaffuz Aain Pakistan, has agreed to engage in negotiations with the government and decided to give a positive response.
According to sources, the decision was made during a consultative meeting of the opposition alliance held in Islamabad late last night.
The meeting was attended by Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, among others.
During the session, statements made by Rana Sanaullah were reviewed in detail. Salman Akram Raja, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and other leaders advised the opposition leadership to establish contact with the government.
Following the alliance’s decisions, Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas will advance the negotiation process.
Opposition leaders are expected to reach out to key government figures during the holy month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, Junaid Akbar, a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stated that they are political people who believe in dialogue and negotiations.
He said the opposition wants reconciliation and resolution of issues through dialogue, emphasizing the need to end confrontation with institutions.
However, he added that the government must also correct its approach.
