Pakistan on Saturday dispatched the 13th consignment of relief goods for its brethren in the besieged territories of Palestine and Lebanon.

The relief goods were sent off in a special flight from Islamabad to Jordan's capital Amman.

The consignment from the people of Pakistan consisted of 100 tonnes of winterised tents and blankets.

Humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza and Lebanon was arranged by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Since the beginning of Israeli aggression, almost 1,381 tonnes of relief items have been dispatched to the affected people of Gaza and Lebanon.

Israel has intensified its ground operation and bombardment on the Gaza strip in response to Hamas' October 7, 2023, attacks.

Netanyahu's war crimes-convicted government, by targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, churches, and even refugee camps where civilians have taken shelter, has so far killed more than 48,000 people and injured over 98,000 Palestinians in Gaza.

Israel has killed almost 2,634 people and injured 11,862 others since October 8, 2023, in Lebanon.
