Pakistan embassy in Beijing marks 78th Independence Day

The Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing hosted a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony on the occasion of the country’s 78th Independence Day, which also celebrated Pakistan’s historic triumph in the Marka-e-Haq and the successful execution of Operation Banyan al-Marsous.
The ceremony commenced with Deputy Head of Mission Bilal Mehmood Chaudhry hoisting the national flag.
This was followed by the reading of congratulatory messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister of Pakistan.
These messages paid rich tribute to the sacrifices made under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah during the freedom struggle, recalling the historic creation of Pakistan on August 14, 1947.
The messages also congratulated the nation on Pakistan’s decisive victory in the war imposed by India between May 6 and 10, 2025, emphasizing the significance of national unity, resilience, and ideological commitment in building a developed and prosperous Pakistan.

In his address, Bilal Mehmood Chaudhry extended Independence Day greetings to the Pakistani community in China and hailed the Battle of Truth victory as a testament to the courage, steadfastness, and capabilities of the Pakistani nation and armed forces.
He described Pakistan–China relations as a model of deep and exemplary partnership, praising the role of the Pakistani diaspora in strengthening bilateral ties through national development and people-to-people connections.
The event featured patriotic songs and the screening of a special video showcasing highlights from the Battle of Truth.
