Passenger dies at Karachi airport after arriving from Lahore

A passenger arriving from Lahore died after collapsing in the parking area of Jinnah International Airport Karachi, airport officials said.

According to officials, the passenger suddenly fell unconscious in the airport's parking area. Airport authorities and an ambulance rushed to the scene after being alerted by a passer-by.

A doctor from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority examined the passenger and confirmed his death.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Arshad, who had arrived in Karachi on Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-304 from Lahore.

Officials said Arshad was a former employee of Pakistan International Airlines. His national identity card, passport and airline ticket were recovered from his belongings.
