The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced a new date for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) due to the floods in the country.

The exam, which was initially set for October 5, 2025, will now take place on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

In a statement, the council said the decision was taken after consultations with representatives from all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. It added that the move was aimed at safeguarding students’ interests and ensuring equal access to education.
