Defence Minister Khawaja Asif experienced disturbing heckling and was confronted with a "knife attack" threat at a London ground station by an unknown person, according to a video that circulated widely on social media.

The incident occurred as Asif, accompanied by a court journalist, was traveling on public transport when a man began to chase and heckle the minister.

Individual, who filmed the confrontation, can be heard shouting insults at Asif and making threatening remarks, including a direct threat of a knife attack.

Despite the verbal abuse and threat, the Defence Minister remained calm and composed throughout the encounter. The video of the confrontation has sparked widespread attention online, with many condemning the aggression.

Insiders associated with the PML-N leader have verified the occrence of the incident to Geo News, stating that the footage depicting the defence minister being threatened and poorly treated "is authentic."

Asif is a senior PML-N leader and is in London with the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

Last week, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who was on a personal visit to Switzerland, faced an unpleasant incident when she and former Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif, were heckled by alleged supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

As Maryam Nawaz stepped outside the building in a car with her bodyguards, a few PTI workers, including a woman stood outside and raised slogans to challenge her leadership.

The slogan did specifically refer to Form 47, a document regarding the elections that were held in February of this year, which PTI claims was tampered with.
