Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh embraced a unique approach to address the issue of the alleged manipulation of polling results in election documents.

Sheikh sent 'ink remover' to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikander Sultan Raja, asserting that "the use of whiteout on Forms-45 is causing disrepute to the institution as cheating also requires a little common sense." This is why he sent ink remover via dock mail to the ECP head.

The PTI leader pointed out that the Forms-45 released by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on its website, revealed alterations made through the use of whiteout.

He claimed that his 84,000 votes were reduced to 36,000, while the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) candidate Sadiq Iftikhar's 10,000 votes were changed to 54,000.

Taking a dig at ECP, he asserted that the use of the ‘whiteout’ formula damaged the credibility of the entire institution and suggested the use of 'ink remover' to the head of the election watchdog.

Haleem Adil Sheikh demanded to impose Article 6 on the CEC Raja and other officals and called for accountability for the alleged electoral irregularities.
