The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) refuted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) claim that protesters were killed during last night’s combing operation in Islamabad’s D Chowk, Blue Area, and Jinnah Avenue.

Taking to X, PML-N shared an official statement from Polyclinic Hospital, where several injured PTI workers were transported following the violent crackdown.

“PTI lie exposed again! Polyclinic Hospital Islamabad has confirmed that no dead bodies were brought from last night’s operation,” the PMLN stated. 

“Federal Government Polyclinic (FGPC) denies news being circulated on social media regarding dead bodies in the hospitals due to the gunshot wounds /bullet/ grenade. Such unverified news pertaining to this hospital circulating in the media may be considered as fake.” FGPC statement read.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) shared a list of its workers who were k!lled or injured during a large-scale security operation in Islamabad. 

The injured protesters were taken to Polyclinic Hospital, with all reported to have suffered gunshot wounds. At least two individuals were confirmed to have succumbed to their injuries.

Earlier, PTI’s official account on X condemned the violence, stating, "Brutality was shown against peaceful demonstrators in Islamabad." The party added, “While dozens of our workers have been k!lled and others injured, details of only eight have been received so far.”

PTI further claimed that the actual number of casualties and injuries is much higher than what has been reported.
