Raza Haroon, Anees Advocate quit MQM-P, join Bilawal's PPP

Raza Haroon and Anees Advocate joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) after parting ways with MQM-P on Friday.

The development came after both the leaders called on former president Asif Ali Zardari.

“Karachi belongs to the PPP. We are trying to restore the city’s glory. Those who wanted unrest and spread hate had harmed the city.”

Zardari said, “The masses will get relief during the time of worst inflation. We will launch welfare projects in Karachi and other parts of the country.”

Raza Haroon, who also served as a provincial minister, earlier joined former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal's Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) in 2016, but later left this faction as well.

On the other hand, Anees was also an MQM dissident who joined PSP in 2016.
