Sher Afzal Marwat sees no difference between Maryam Nawaz and Mohsin Naqvi rule

Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and MNA Sher Afzal Marwat has said there is no difference between the ruling tenures of Maryam Nawaz and Mohsin Naqvi.

In his informal media talk in Islamabad after filing plea against the ban on meetings with Imran Khan, Marwat said there is no difference in both of them. "Dono ko upper say he orders milrahay hain".

Marwat filed a plea in the Islamabad High Court (IHC), arguing that the provincial home department lacks the authority to enforce such a ban in jail premises.

He has urged the court to nullify the ban order, warning that all parliamentarians will stage protests if the restriction on meetings with the party’s leader is not lifted.

According to sources within the Punjab home department, the ban on meetings is initially imposed for two weeks, and media coverage near Adiala Jail’s gate no-5 is also prohibited.

Security officers have instructed media teams to maintain a distance of 2km from the jail premises and have restricted media coverage.
