Sindh CM announces compensation for families of war heroes

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Friday announced compensation for the families of those martyred and injured in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos during recent military conflict with India.
The announcement was made during his visit to the Martyrs’ Memorial in Malir Cantonment, where he paid tribute to those who laid down their lives in defense of the country’s sovereignty.
“At least six Pakistani soldiers were martyred at the Bholari airbase in Sindh, and one civilian, identified as Mukhtiyar Lughari, lost his life in Ghotki during Indian attacks on both civilian and military areas,” said the Chief Minister.
While announcing the compensation, Shah stated that the provincial government would provide Rs10 million for each martyr and Rs1 million for each wounded individual.

“Our soldiers gave a befitting reply to Indian aggression," he stated, adding, "Defending the motherland is the foremost duty of every Pakistani, and we will never compromise on the honor and dignity of our country.”
Speaking to the media, the Chief Minister emphasised national unity, stating, “The entire nation stands united against Indian aggression. Our armed forces responded bravely and effectively.”
Congratulating the people of Sindh, Shah urged them to observe Youm-e-Tashakur (Day of Gratitude) , pray for the martyrs, and use this victory, granted by Allah Almighty, for the progress and betterment of Pakistan.
