Traffic plan issued for Gulistan-e-Johar procession

A Majlis-e-Aza and procession will be held in Gulistan-e-Johar Block 17, Karachi, on Wednesday, with the Majlis beginning at 7pm and the procession scheduled to emerge at 11:30pm.

The traffic police have issued a traffic management plan for the occasion, announcing diversions and road closures around the procession route.

Both sides of the road between Johar Chowrangi and Johar Mor will remain closed to traffic during the procession.

Traffic coming from Shahrah-e-Faisal towards Johar Mor will be diverted towards NIPA, while vehicles travelling from Mausamiyat towards Johar Chowrangi will be diverted towards Kamran Chowrangi and PIA Colony.

Traffic approaching Johar Chowrangi from Samama will be diverted towards Rabia City and Pehlwan Goth.

Traffic police officials advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel in the area, use alternative routes and cooperate with traffic personnel.
