Ward boy to be honoured with civil award for helping Dr Mahnoor after acid attack: CM

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has announced a civil award for a ward boy who helped save Dr Mahnoor after an acid attack on her.

The chief minister said that Abdul Razzaq Tareki risked his own life to provide immediate assistance to the victim after the attack, showing exceptional bravery and professional duty.

"Abdul Razzaq Tarkai, an employee of Civil Hospital Quetta, who displayed extraordinary courage, humanity, and dedication to duty by providing immediate assistance after the tragic acid attack on Lady Doctor Mahnoor Nisar, will be honoured with a civil award," he wrote on X.

He added that such brave and valiant individuals are the assets of our society, who set a shining example of serving humanity even in the most difficult circumstances.
