Apple's upcoming iPhone 18 Pro supply chain has reportedly been exposed after sensitive files linked to supplier Tata Electronics appeared on the dark web following a ransomware attack, according to a Reuters report.

The leaked documents allegedly contain supplier lists, component details and photographs of unreleased iPhone 18 Pro models, potentially revealing key information about Apple's manufacturing network ahead of the device's expected launch in September 2026.

According to Reuters, the files identify companies responsible for supplying various components, including chips, battery parts and camera modules used in the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. The documents reportedly map hundreds of parts to individual suppliers, information Apple does not publicly disclose.

A source familiar with the matter told Reuters that Apple considers the leaked information sensitive because it relates to unreleased products and exposes confidential supplier relationships.

The report said several files carried Apple "confidential" watermarks and internal code names associated with the iPhone 18 Pro generation.

The leaked material also included photographs showing grey, slab-shaped devices with a triple rear-camera system undergoing drop tests at a Tata facility earlier this year. Reuters said it could not independently confirm the exact model shown in the images, although the source identified them as iPhone 18 Pro units.
