iPhone iOS 18 now available: Check full list of supported devices

Apple has officially launched iOS 18, making it available for eligible iPhones to download for free through the Software Update settings.
The latest update will come pre-installed on the upcoming iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models, set to release on September 20.
However, older models like the iPhone 8 and iPhone X from 2017 or earlier will not be able to upgrade to iOS 18.
iOS 18 compatibility extends to iPhones that supported iOS 17, including:
- iPhone SE (2nd gen or later)
- iPhone XR
- iPhone XS/XS Max
- iPhone 11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max
- iPhone 12/12 mini/12 Pro/12 Pro Max
- iPhone 13/13 mini/13 Pro/13 Pro Max
- iPhone 14/14 Plus/14 Pro/14 Pro Max
- iPhone 15/15 Plus/15 Pro/15 Pro Max
- iPhone 16/16 Plus/16 Pro/16 Pro Max
Apple Intelligence features, available initially on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 models, will roll out in October, starting with English language support in the US.
Localised English versions will follow in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK by December.
Key features in iOS 18 include:
- Passwords app: Secure password storage
- Improved Messages: Enhanced text formatting and Android compatibility
- Revamped Photos library: Custom collections and organization
- Personalized home screen: Customizable app layout and design
Additionally, a forthcoming software update will enable existing AirPods Pro to function as hearing aids, following FDA approval.
