Usama Saleem, a 25-year-old Pakistani cybersecurity expert from Karachi, has earned a spot in NASA’s prestigious Hall of Fame for his remarkable contributions to cybersecurity.
Saleem discovered two critical vulnerabilities that had the potential to expose sensitive NASA data, posing significant risks to the organization's systems and operations.
Saleem's findings have been praised as a step towards enhancing NASA's security framework.
Despite having just three years of experience in the cybersecurity field, his work has already made a substantial impact.
Specializing in Azure Security, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and other Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Saleem is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Cyber Security from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
