A tragic incident occurred in Muridke's Ratta Gujran area near Kala Shah Kaku, where a 12-year-old student, Abdul Hadi, lost his life while recording a TikTok video using his father’s pistol.

According to police reports, Abdul Hadi was at home when he picked up his father’s pistol to create a social media video. During filming, the firearm accidentally discharged, hitting the young boy. The bullet struck him fatally, and he died instantly on the spot.

Hearing the gunshot, family members rushed to Abdul Hadi’s room and found him critically injured. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, but doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.

Family members told police that Abdul Hadi was passionate about making TikTok videos and was attempting to use his father’s pistol as a prop when the tragic mishap took place.

The heartbreaking incident has sparked renewed concern over children’s unsupervised use of firearms and their exposure to social media trends. Police have once again urged parents to keep all weapons securely locked and to monitor their children’s online activities to prevent such preventable tragedies.
