3-month-old baby killed by his father in Lahore

In a distressing incident, a 3-month-old baby was killed by his father in Lahore, it emerged on Tuesday.

According to police, the harrowing incident took place in Johar town area of the provincial capital.

Police said the suspect, identified as Mazhar, had a quarrel with his wife over a suspicion of love affair.

During the heated exchange, Mazhar hit his infant baby boy, Zeeshan, to the ground due to which he got severe injuries.

The baby was taken to the hospital for medical assistance, where he succumbed to his injuries.

However, the case was registered against Mazhar and his brother-in-law on the complaint of the victim's mother.

The suspect is still on large and police are conducting raids to arrest Mazhar.
