Dr. Mishal Karim missing after jumping into drain over husband’s behavior in Karachi

Karachi’s Scout Colony witnessed a distressing incident as rescue teams continued their search for Dr. Mishal Karim, who allegedly jumped into a drain late Sunday night.

Despite extensive efforts by divers and rescue officials, her whereabouts remain unknown on the second day of operations.

According to police, eyewitnesses reported seeing Dr. Mishal jump into the drain during the night between Sunday and Monday, prompting immediate rescue efforts. Divers have since been carrying out search operations, but no breakthrough has been achieved so far.

Preliminary information revealed that Dr. Mishal had married of her own choice two years ago. However, family members and sources claim that tensions had escalated recently after her husband allegedly expressed his intention to contract a second marriage.

Police officials stated that the case is being investigated from multiple angles, and efforts are underway to determine the circumstances that led to the incident.
