Indian national arrested in the UK for facilitating human smuggling

A 29-year-old Indian national has been arrested in the UK for facilitating human trafficking. The NCA and West Midlands police raided a house in Handsworth, an inner-city area of Birmingham, during a joint operation.

According to the reports, the suspect has been arrested based on involvement in facilitating illegal immigration and remains in custody, where he is under further investigation by the police officials and the NCA team.  

During the raid, several electronic devices were also seized to gather more evidence about the connections and network.

According to the British authorities, the man was suspected of being a part of an illegal criminal organization that works to smuggle people to the UK illegally.

Officials say that the arrest is part of British law enforcement agencies aimed at cracking down on those promoting illegal immigration.
