Katcha bandits in Sukkur kidnapped three Pirs who were going to collect donations from their disciples, according to a Geo News report.
The incident took place when IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon was in Sukkur to review the security situation of the rural areas of Larkana and Sukkur.
During his presence, three individuals from the rural area of Sukkur were kidnapped, who had gone to collect donations from their disciples upon the harvesting of crops.
The abduction of all three individuals took place in the Jhali Kalwari area. According to family sources, three individuals from the village of Hyder Shah in the Bagarji area of Sukkur, namely Janib Shah, Javaid Shah, and Zahoor Shah, had gone to collect annual donations from their disciples.
The bandits have abducted all three individuals to the Jhali Kalwari area, and efforts are underway to recover them.
Additionally, when IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon reached the SSP office in Kandhkot, he was greeted with salutations. IG Sindh will also visit the rural areas to assess the operational situation. Security measures have been intensified in Sukkur and Larkana upon his arrival.
