An elderly woman was brought to a bank in Karachi's North Nazimabad area on a stretcher for biometric verification. Despite the bank reportedly offering a facility to provide this service at home, the woman's family took her to the branch in her severely ill state.
A video circulating online showed the woman sitting in a chair while her attendants assist her with the biometric process.
In the video, a voice can be heard saying, "I am at the HBL bank in L-Block, North Nazimabad, where a patient was brought on a stretcher for biometric verification."
Meanwhile, a bank official attempted to stop the individual from filming the situation, instructing a guard to confiscate the phone.
However, he failed to explain why the elderly woman was brought to the bank despite her condition.
