Jinnah International Airport in Karachi witnessed unprecedented crowds as travelers faced long queues and severe delays. Passengers reported congestion at check-in counters, immigration, and security checkpoints, causing frustration and missed flights for many.
Officials noted that the surge in passenger numbers, combined with limited trolleys and inadequate crowd management, contributed to the chaos.
Some porters were reportedly renting luggage trolleys outside the airport for ₨500–₨1000, adding to passenger inconvenience.
Travelers expressed their frustration, calling for improved airport management and better passenger facilitation, especially during peak travel hours.
However,no action have been taken yet by the management and authorities.
The incident highlights ongoing challenges in managing one of Pakistan’s busiest airports, where efficient handling of passengers remains critical to avoid travel disruptions.
