Larkana: Man accused of gang raping differently-abled girl killed in police encounter

A suspect involved in the gang rape of a 15-year-old differently-abled girl was killed in an alleged police encounter in Larkana. The victim had passed away after the assault.
The police stated that they launched an operation at Sailra Bybass in the Rato Dero area of Larkana based on a tip-off regarding the presence of armed robbers.
When the police raided the site, the suspects opened fire, prompting the police to retaliate. As a result, one suspect, Rizwan alias Kaloo, was killed.
Subsequently, the investigation revealed that the suspect was nominated in the gang rape of a specially-abled teenager, Dua Abro, who had been receiving treatment at the Trauma Centre in Larkana, but unfortunately passed away.

An unfortunate incident was reported an hour after the police encounter.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ahmed Faisal Chaudhary stated that the suspect received a fatal gunshot during the exchange of fire between the police and the robbers, and he was killed by one of the suspects' accomplices, who fled the scene.
He claimed that the police were attacked during the raid to arrest Kaalu. The victim's uncle, Asad Abro, reported that she had gone missing on July 11 after leaving her home in Kambar Naka, Ratodero, and was found unconscious and injured near Ratodero Stadium the following day.
According to Dr Shah Hussain Shah, Medical Superintendent of Taluka Hospital, initial medical findings suggested that the victim had been raped.
