Parents forgive girl who 'killed' younger sister over TikTok followers in Gujranwala

A girl arrested for allegedly killing her younger sister in Gujranwala has been granted bail after their parents submitted a written pardon before the court.
An additional sessions judge heard suspect’s bail application. Her parents submitted an out-of-court settlment, informing the court that they have forgiven their daughter.
Based on their statements, the court approved the woman’s bail against surety bonds of Rs50,000.
According to the police, the incident took place on August 30 in Ladhewala Warraich police remits. The two sisters used to make videos for TikTok.
The police said that the sisters had a dispute over their social media account and financial transactions, following which the younger sister was allegedly killed.
The police had lodged a case on the complaint of Abdul Shakoor, father of six daughters and a son. He stated that his daughter Manahil was allegedly stabbed with a kitchen knife by his 18-year-old daughter.
The elder sister reportedly blamed the victim for stealing her followers.
