Pattoki man murders sister-in-law’s fiance to marry her

Local police arrested two suspects in the murder case of a 25-year-old man in Pattoki. The deceased was scheduled to marry the suspect’s sister-in-law within a week.
On the directives of DPO Muhammad Essa Khan, police from the Sadar Pattoki station arrested two suspects, Azhar and Sajid, in connection with a recent murder case.
According to reports, on the night of June 13, victim Umar Parvez was asleep on the rooftop of his house when unidentified assailants opened fire on him, killing him on the spot.
Umar was due to be married just a week later, turning a house full of wedding preparations into one of mourning.

After 15 days of continuous investigation, police managed to apprehend the suspects. It was revealed during the probe that Azhar allegedly wanted to marry his sister-in-law, who was instead engaged to Umar Parvez.
Enraged over the situation, Azhar, along with his accomplice Sajid, allegedly carried out the murder.
Both suspects are now in custody, and further investigation is underway.
